Handmade gifts are hot this year. If you want to try your hand at making your own earrings, bracelets and necklaces for gift giving, sign up for our first ever Basics of Beading class. We're providing tools for use during class and will also provide the beads and findings for your take-home treasures. Tuition is $30 - a small investment for a lifetime of enjoyment and savings.
ABOUT OUR BEAD SHOP:
Itty Bitty Bead Shop started in late 2006 as literally a 4x8 section of wall in our gift shop at Waterstreet Mall.
Then it grew to a 1/4 room. Now we have an entire room dedicated to beads.
We've recently remodelled and reorganized to make shopping easier and, we hope, more enjoyable.
The owner will now be at the shop full-time, so stop in and visit us Tues-Sat, 10a-5pm.
Itty Bitty Bead Shop offers a wide variety of beads and findings.
We have semi-precious gemstone beads from Agate to Zebra Jasper, as well as a small selection of Emerald, Ruby, Tourmaline, Apatite and Spinel beads.
Our glass bead selection includes regular and AB finishes in rounds, bicones, cubes and other shapes.
Varieties of glass include Chinese crystal, crackle glass, lampwork beggar beads and glass chips.
A beach resort area like Rockport wouldn't be complete without shell beads! We have a good selection of shaped shell beads, shell heishi beads, shell chip beads, mother-of-pearl beads and chips, pearl strands, coral, bone and more.
Our findings include regular silver and gold plated items, as well as silver and gold plated over copper and plain copper materials.
We also carry a small selection of Acculon beading wire, economy tigertail and PowerCord.

We have Murano foil glass pendants from the basic scoop pendant to dolphins, alligators, seahorses, starfish and more.
Our stone focals come in a variety of shapes and sizes and stones as common as chalk turquoise to the more unusual and earthy Kambaba and Oolitic jaspers.
For the discriminating designer, we have some very nice handmade lampwork bead sets as well.
We may not have dozens of every item but we try to stock a little something for everyone.
